Product Introduction

The Rotating Disc Contactor (RDC) offered by Xi’an Lexin Technology Co., Ltd. is an advanced liquid-liquid extraction column engineered to meet the rigorous demands of modern industrial separation processes. 

The rotary disc extraction tower is a type of mechanically agitated extraction tower, consisting of five main components: the oil-water separator (upper and lower), the tower body, the rotary disc system, the feed and discharge system, and the electrical control system. The inner diameter and height of the tower body are custom-designed according to the client's process materials. The inner wall of the tower is equipped with a series of static rings at certain intervals, while the dynamic rings (rotary discs or turbine impellers) are fixed to the central shaft.

Its mixing unit is composed of static rings and dynamic rings, where the static rings divide the tower into several mixing zones. In each mixing zone, the dynamic rings agitate the liquids to achieve mixing of the two phases. During operation, the light phase enters the tower from the bottom, and the heavy phase enters from the top. The two phases contact each other in a countercurrent flow, and after the extraction process, the light phase exits from the top while the heavy phase exits from the bottom.

The rotary disc extraction tower can be used in all liquid-liquid extraction processes, as well as in stepwise chemical reaction processes with or without mass transfer.
